Ripley is known as “America’s Largest Small Town Independence Celebration!” It’s a tradition that dates back to the late 1800’s, having the Oldest Parade & Oldest Independence Day Celebration in West VA! And Boy, do they do it right… Live Music Events from June 27th thru July 4th; Lots of Food; Children’s Games; & the Gambill Amusement Co. Carnival & Rides, benefitting the Ripley Volunteer Fire Department, runs from July 3rd ~ 7th, and so much more!
Plus on July 4th there is a Grand Parade, a Firecracker 2-mile Race, & FREE Live Music Entertainment All-Day-Long… including @ 6pm w/the PARROTS OF THE CARIBBEAN… the High-Energy, Original Trop-Rock & Jimmy Buffett Tribute Act! This Huge Celebration of MUSIC & FUN culminates @ 10pm with a Spectacular Fireworks Display!! What an Awesome Celebration!!
So on Wed., July 4th, let the PARROTS OF THE CARIBBEAN put you into an Island State-of-Mind, as we ROCK You Buffett-style to some of Jimmy & Friends biggest songs, Fan-favorite Originals, & more! Come dressed in your Brightest, Tropical Colors, then let yourself go to Laugh, Sing, Dance, & Conga around the I-77 Auto Group Stage @ 6 pm, because as the Parrots like to say…
